We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with over 5 years of experience in API and services testing, proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, or Groovy. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with test automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and is familiar with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured. This role involves designing and executing testing strategies for complex systems, developing automated test suites, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential, along with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and leadership in QA best practices.

Location: 100% REMOTE. Working hours are based between US Central or Eastern Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for complex APIs and services, aligning with product requirements and business goals.
• Hands-On Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts using scripting languages like Python, Kotlin, Groovy, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Test Automation: Utilize tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks to create and maintain robust test suites.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to define quality standards, resolve defects, and ensure seamless integration of new features.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and integrate new tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Groovy).
• Strong experience with test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
