Abstra Talent Referral Program
Last updated: December 17, 2025
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to Abstra’s Talent Referral Program (“Program”). In this Program, all eligible Abstra team members can participate. Abstra may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time.
By submitting a referral, you agree to follow these rules.
Purpose
The Program encourages team members to recommend talented people they personally know and trust. Referrals should reflect genuine professional or personal knowledge of the candidate, including their character, abilities, and potential fit at Abstra.
Successful referrals earn a USD 500 award after the hire completes 90 days in good standing, subject to the conditions in these Terms.
Eligibility
Referrers
- Abstra team members are eligible to participate as Referrers, except for HR & Talent recruitment positions.
- Any aditional exceptions or ineligible groups/individuals will be communicated by Abstra separately, if applicable.
Referral-Eligible Roles
For a position to be referral-eligible, it must to be listed on https://abstra.bamboohr.com/careers and its job opening submission form must include the question/field: “Who referred you to this position?”
Referral Process
For a referral to be valid, the following steps are mandatory:
Step 1. Confirm the role is open for referral
Before submitting a referral, please:- Go to Abstra’s Careers page https://abstra.bamboohr.com/careers
- Review the open positions and identify a role that matches the person you have in mind (skills, experience, location, language, etc.).
- If you believe they are a good match, open the job opening submission form for that position.
- Confirm that the form includes the field: “Who referred you to this position?”
- Copy the URL of that job opening, as you will need to paste it into the Talent Referral Form.
Step 2. Referrer submits the Internal Referral Form
You must complete the Talent Referral Form. The form requires:- Referrer full name + Abstra email.
- Candidate full name + email + LinkedIn URL or CV (optional but recommended).
- Link to the job opening that is Referral-Eligible, listed in https://abstra.bamboohr.com/careers.
- Short explanation of why the candidate is a good fit.
Step 3. Candidate applies and lists the Referrer
The candidate must:- Apply to the job via the official job opening submission form.
- Complete all required application fields.
- Include the Referrer’s name in the field: “Who referred you to this position?”
Additional Candidate Eligibility Requirements
A candidate is NOT eligible as a referral if they:

Referral Integrity and Program Values
- Referrals must be based on genuine personal knowledge of the candidate.
- Referrals should reflect real trust and belief in the candidate’s capabilities, values, and potential fit at Abstra.
- The Program emphasizes quality over quantity. Submitting candidates without knowing them personally, or submitting referrals in volume, goes against the purpose of the Program.
- Abstra may request additional context about the relationship between Referrer and candidate.
- Abstra may exclude referrals that do not meet these principles or that appear misaligned with the spirit of the Program.
Award Requirements

- Is hired within 180 days of the Referral Date.

- Remains continuously employed during those 90 days.
- The hire happens within 180 days of the Referral Date, and
- The new role is a Referral-Eligible Role at the time of hire.
Payment Terms

- The award will be paid through payroll or another method defined by Abstra.
- Taxes and statutory withholdings may apply as required by law.
- Once paid, no additional compensation related to that referral is due.
Disqualifiers

- Referrers must confirm that the candidate has consented to share their information with Abstra.
- Abstra will process personal data according to its privacy and security policies and applicable data protection laws.
Other Legal Terms
- Participation in the Program does not create any additional employment, partnership, or agency relationship between the Referrer and Abstra beyond their existing status.
- The Program is governed by the laws of Nevada, unless otherwise required by local law.
- Abstra is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the Program.
- Abstra reserves the right to exclude specific roles or positions from eligibility for this Program at any time, even if they are otherwise advertised or appear similar to Referral-Eligible Roles
- Referrers agree to indemnify Abstra against claims or damages arising from inaccurate, unauthorized, or improper referrals or breaches of these Terms & Conditions.
- These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Abstra and the Referrer regarding the Program and supersede all prior understandings on this matter.
- Abstra may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be communicated through official channels and will apply to referrals submitted after the effective date of the update.
