Abstra Internal Talent Referral Program Terms & Conditions PHASE 1 (BETA)

Last updated: November 24, 2025

These Terms & Conditions apply to the internal beta version of Abstra’s Talent Referral Program (“Program”). The purpose of this phase is to test workflows, communication, fairness, and operational readiness. Abstra may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time.

Phase 1 of the Program is a beta test that will remain active until December 19th,  2025. Only invited team members may participate during this trial period.

By submitting a referral, you agree to follow these rules.

Purpose

The Program encourages team members to recommend talented people they personally know and trust. Referrals should reflect genuine professional or personal knowledge of the candidate, including their character, abilities, and potential fit at Abstra.

Successful referrals earn a USD 500 award after the hire completes 90 days in good standing.

Eligibility

Only the team members invited to internal beta version may participate as Referrers. Eligible positions for Phase 1 will be communicated directly by email to the team members invited to participate. Eligible job posting will be published on Abstra’s careers page.

Referral Process (Mandatory Steps)

For a referral to be valid, both steps must be completed within 7 days:

Step 1. Referrer submits the Internal Referral Form

Form requires:
  • Referrer full name + Abstra email.
  • Candidate full name + email + LinkedIn URL or CV (optional but recommended).
  • Link to eligible job posting on Abstra’s career page.
  • Short explanation of why the candidate is a good fit.
Failure to submit this form invalidates the referral.

Step 2. Candidate applies and lists the Referrer

The candidate must:
  • Apply to the job via the official link.
  • Complete all application fields.
  • Include the Referrer’s name in: “Who referred you to this position?”.
If the candidate fails to list the Referrer, the referral is invalid. The Referral Date is the day both steps are completed within the 7-day window.

Additional Candidate Eligibility Requirements

A candidate is NOT eligible if they:
  • Applied, interviewed, or were referred in the last 6 months.
  • Are currently in process for any role.
  • Do not complete the application.
  • Do not include the referrer’s name in the application.

Referral Integrity and Program Values

Referrals must be based on genuine personal knowledge of the candidate. Referrals should reflect real trust and belief in the candidate’s capabilities and fit. The Program emphasizes quality over quantity. Submitting candidates without knowing them personally, or submitting referrals in volume, goes against the purpose of the Program. Abstra may request additional context about the relationship. Abstra may exclude referrals that do not meet these principles.

Award Requirements

The Referrer earns the USD 500 award only if the candidate:
  • Applies to an eligible position and lists the Referrer.
  • Is hired within 180 days of the Referral Date.
  • Completes 90 days of employment in good standing (no performance, conduct, or client concerns).
  • Remains continuously employed during those 90 days.
If hired into a different role: Referral still counts as long as hire happens within 180 days of the Referral Date.

Payment Terms

The Referrer earns the USD 500 award only if the candidate:
  • 45 days after the 90-day mark of employment with Abstra
  • Paid through payroll or another method defined by Abstra.
  • Taxes may be withheld as required.
  • Once paid, no additional compensation is due.

Disqualifiers

The referral becomes invalid if:
  • Steps were not completed.
  • Candidate fails to apply or misses the 7-day deadline.
  • Candidate omits the Referrer’s name
  • False, incomplete, or misleading information is provided.
  • Requirements under Section 4 and 5 are not met.

Data Consent

Referrers must confirm the candidate has consented to share their information. Abstra will process personal data according to its privacy and security policies.

Other Legal Terms

Participation does not create any additional employment or partnership relationship. The Program is governed by the laws of Nevada. Abstra is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Referrers agree to indemnify Abstra for claims arising from unauthorized or inaccurate referrals. Referrers agree to indemnify Abstra against claims or damages arising from inaccurate, unauthorized, or improper Referrals or breaches of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Abstra and the Referrer regarding the Program and supersede all prior understandings on the matter.
