We are seeking for a Senior QA Engineering role supporting a technically sophisticated platform built with modern architecture—event-based microservices, micro frontends, and thoughtful engineering practices. The work is engaging and meaningful, with direct collaboration across design, product, and engineering. You’ll be working in a fast-moving environment where automation is valued, short cycles are the norm, and there’s a strong emphasis on quality from the start. Location: 100% remote. Working hours are based on the US Pacific Time Zone.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Join agile squads to review, clarify, and influence story development and testability.
  • Validate acceptance criteria manually in development and integration environments.
  • Participate in live feature walkthroughs with developers for initial validation.
  • Execute manual test cases and raise bugs or edge cases as needed.
  • Automate tests using Playwright (TypeScript) within existing framework structures.
  • Collaborate with QA leads to define automation priorities per sprint.
  • Push automated test results into Azure DevOps (test case management only).
  • Contribute to sprint-level test planning, retrospectives, and quality checkpoints.

Key Skills & Required Technologies:

  • 5+ years of experience in QA, with significant automation experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright or similar JavaScript-based tools.
  • Experience working in modern agile environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with GitHub Actions or similar automation tools.
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Practical approach to automation—knows what and when to automate.

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Experience with performance testing using JMeter (Java-based).
  • Familiarity with microservice or micro frontend architectures.
  • Prior exposure to designing, building, or optimizing automation frameworks (e.g., SDET-level work).
  • Experience in nearshore, bilingual, or multi-time-zone environments.
