Job Description:

As a Software Quality Analyst, you will work in a high-energy team, supporting the quality delivery of our Dynamics CRM. Passion for all aspects of software development is critical. We are building teams that are empowered to solve business needs by having a rapid development and deployment pipeline with a focus on automation and software release. In this role, you will create scenarios, execute tests, and log defects based on user stories as the team customizes CRM forms, fields, views, reports, and dashboards, develops validations and workflows, and integrates with other enterprise systems. As a Scrum team member, you will assist the team with delivering solutions that adhere to the software architecture strategy, coding standards, and established organizational policies and procedures.

About the role:

Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experienced in manual testing techniques, methodologies, testing tools, and best practices.
• A team player who actively participates and contributes to all Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborates with Software Development Engineers in Test and Software Engineers on developing an effective Testing Strategy.
• Good understanding of how to create and execute functional, cross-browser, exploratory, security, regression, edge-case, and integration testing as required.
• Desire to learn and work in an Agile engineering environment.
• Supports Implementations to Production.
• Utilizes TFS or Jira to create scenarios, execute tests, and log defects based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Reviews and provides feedback on the testability of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Basic understanding of how to set up test Data for software test execution.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements:

• Dynamics CRM experience is required, with Sales experience strongly preferred.
• Exposure to ClientPoint or other proposal generation tools is preferred.
• Significant experience in test automation scripting and debugging – experience using Leapwork preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business-related field.
• Business experience in the financial or retirement industry.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clear, concise technical writing style.
• Possesses strong organizational skills and can maintain expected productivity levels.
• Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and be responsible for the creation and execution of test scripts in each sprint.
• Desire to learn automation scripting and debugging.

Nice to Have Skills

• Exposure to test automation scripting and debugging – especially using Leapwork.
• Familiar with Agile philosophy and frameworks.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL queries.
• Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST).
