We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Odoo Developer with extensive expertise in SyteLine 8 to lead the migration of our manufacturing environment from SyteLine 8 to Odoo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Odoo and SyteLine 8 ERP systems, with proven experience in developing, customizing, and migrating complex ERP solutions in manufacturing environments.

Location: 100% remote. Working hours are based on Central US Time Zone.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze current business processes and map them to Odoo modules.
• Customize and develop Odoo modules to meet business requirements.
• Ensure data integrity during the migration process.
• Train and support users in the transition to the new system.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform system integration and testing to ensure seamless operation of the new system.
• Provide post-migration support and continuous improvements to the Odoo system.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Odoo development and at least 3 years in SyteLine 8.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python and Odoo framework.
  • Strong knowledge of SyteLine 8, including configuration, customization, and migration.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and how they integrate with ERP systems.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Knowledge of additional ERP systems.
• Odoo certification.
