We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. This role involves both manual and automated testing, collaborating with development teams, and creating scalable test frameworks to support our rapid growth.

Location: ON-SITE. Working hours based on Paraguay Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Strategy:
   • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements.
   • Define testing methodologies, standards, and best practices.
2. Manual and Automated Testing:
   • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
   • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
   • Ensure test automation coverage for API, UI, and performance testing.
3. Defect Management:
   • Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with development teams.
   • Participate in root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
4. Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD):
   • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
   • Monitor test execution and provide timely feedback on build stability.
5. Collaboration and Reporting:
   • Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
   • Provide regular updates, metrics, and reports on test coverage, defects, and performance.
6. Performance and Security Testing:
   • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the system can handle high traffic and concurrent sessions.
   • Perform security testing and validate compliance with industry standards.

Requiered Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years in software quality assurance, including test automation.
• Tools: Proficiency with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, and jMeter.
• Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# for test automation scripting.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Version Control: Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Testing Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development (TDD).
• Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
